I would like to introduce our new casual game, the "Silly Face Society". It is an online charades-like game that takes place in a secret society dedicated to silly faces. We would appreciate it if you took the time to download it and post the most brutally honest, ego-crushing review you can muster.

Our vitals:

* We are an indie shop of two Canadians that have been making games together since we were 13
* The app is free! This is a labour of love.
* Our 1.0 version was released on October 4th, 2012
* The interface is entirely hand-drawn and is very different than typical Zynga fare

The two of us lead soulless live and built this game as an escape. You choose an opponent (usually a Facebook friend) and are presented with a list of possible ridiculous descriptions to act out into the iPhone's front facing camera. The recipient of the face attempts to guess its description using our Guesstron 3000 computer: correct guesses earn you monocles and increase your rank, while incorrect guesses play a sad trombone.

Naturally, there is a little more to it and a lot to discover. We are incredible proud of our work and would love for you to take a look.

Iffermoon is in some ways the opposite of many of the games we point to -- graphically polished, conventional gameplay, and long-playing. It's a 2D sidescrolling RPG, but with backgrounds and characters rendered in 3D, with a generally pastel, cute look. Most of the game is played in sidescroller mode -- you move about, collecting coins of different colors and 'talking' with other characters by moving atop them. However, when you enter battle, you cut to a battle screen, ala Final Fantasy; also ala Final Fantasy your single character in sidescrolling mode actually represents your party, four of whom you may use during a battle. Unlike FF, combat is real-time, except that each character gradually "charges up," and when charged, you can click trigger a special attack or action by the character.
